I believe giving birth is a natural, still unique event in a woman’s life.  A woman should have access to the necessary knowledge to make well informed decisions during this miraculous occasion.  I also believe that a truly “successful birth” can only be defined by mother and partner.  As a doula I am dedicated in assisting you with the “birth story” YOU desire.

I am certified as a birth and postpartum doula with DONA International (Doulas of North America). I have been helping with birth and infant care since 1982, when I assisted my youngest sister with the natural birth and postpartum care of her twin sons.  After that miraculous event, I was hooked!  Embracing that miracle, I started on the path of a new passion, which continues to this day.  

Also, I have been in private practice since 1985 as a Certified Clinical Electrologist, a Licensed Aesthetician and a Certified Massage Therapist.  I graduated from the University of Hawaii with my bachelor’s degree and did graduate work at the University of Utah.

In my free time I enjoy sailing, tennis, hiking, dancing, gardening, home improvements and am extremely passionate about traveling globally.
